So, here he is.
Why do I share him?
Partly, because I wasn't able to do an illustrator lesson yesterday, and partly because I want to share why you can call yourself an artist if you love to paint or draw or create or however you do your art.
Whether or not you will make money on it isn't what makes you an artist.
What makes you an artist is if you have to do it -- if when you make your art you lose yourself and just enjoy what you are doing.
That is a mark of if something is your thing. Can you just enjoy the work?
Do you find yourself in the midst of losing yourself to the work?
If you are stressed, if you take part in this art, does it bring you back to your center? To Peace?
Does it open your mind and let God work there, give you His eyes, His heart, His love?
When we are creative we are tapping into the Divine.
It is a good thing.
It is what we were meant to do.
Keep creating that art. Keep at it. Don't get discouraged. It matters. You matter.
