I love this piece, but don't think I can sell it on Etsy. The technique is totally copied off from one of Carla Sonheim's pieces on her site. She is a genius!
Great creative exercise (thanks to Carla Sonheim):
Go outside and find a sidewalk. Draw the random cracks.
Look at what you've drawn and make something out of it.
That's where the Sneaky Girl came from -- actually it was paper courtesy of Carla Sonheim of sidewalk cracks.
I like the Sneaky Girl! I just used marker and pen.
I learned this technique from Carla Sonheim's Watercolor textures internet class. I don't like the face too much but the animals are fun.
My BBC (Blunt Bible Club) and I did an art project together -- a kind of collage watercolor painting. It turned out so cute. I am going to share some pics but I have not been the best photographer with this painting!
I had everyone who has ever gone to BBC draw their face (I had to draw a few since they weren't around). Then, I took all these faces and glued them onto a piece of watercolor paper. I then drew a body for each face along with other stuff to make it a fun scene.
It is a bit silly but it sure was fun.
And the kids love to look at it.
There are a few adults in the picture too. So, here are the pics:
