Last day of school for my kiddos.
Above is Pete drinking his last cup of hot chocolate coffee before school.
It is going to be a good summer.
Here's my silly sketch from last night. Haven't been doing lots of drawing or writing these days. My oldest child is graduating from high school in about a month, and we're applying for lots of scholarships and also trying to get our yard looking good. So, life is busy.
I submitted my Ruthie and Marcie book to 13 publishers. I've received one reply back so far -- a rejection letter. I believe in the book and have begun to start the second book (called Alice's Revenge). So, my writing has kind of slowed down too with all that is going on in our lives.
But, had to do some sketching. Have no idea what any of it means (if anything at all).
I repurposed a book and found two new characters, Code and Cipher!
One of the pages! I just love ode. Cipher is a bit annoying but there is a lot of potential. We shall see after the Christmas season.
Copying cartoons comes easy for me. Maybe it does for anyone. Well, This morning I copied one for Pete:
Pete loves these books. He even took one to church for the pastor to do a children's sermon on. Our pastor did pretty good with it!
