I haven't used it yet.
I've gotten into another rut. Oh man, it is so easy to fall into them when you're enjoying what you're doing.
I haven't picked up a paintbrush for weeks!
How did this happen?
For years, I wouldn't pick up a pen. I went right to the brushes and stayed with them. I've sold quite a few paintings actually using my brush.....
And I am getting comfortable and enjoying the illustration style that has evolved in my sketchbook, but I need to add color.
I need to add the watercolors.
And I haven't been able to go back to the brush yet.
Not only did I get this cool set of pan colors, but I also got a watercolor sketch book that is begging me to put some pen and ink and watercolor pictures in it. It screams, "I was cheap! Fill me up and you can buy another! Fill me up so we can start that portfolio!"
But do I? Have I? No!
So, my challenge today is to get those watercolors out. To start. I'll have to furnish watercolors for my three youngest kids too since they always want to paint.
But I can do that.
We have a long table. We can paint together.
I have no excuses.
I need to paint.
I need to take that next step.
Oh man, sometimes it is just so darn tough to take it though.
